1st Tournament Of Champions

This year will be the first year of the summer sweeps for this prestigious invitational winner take all event, the Tournament Of Champions. The TOC event will take place after the conclusion of the Senior and Women's finals on Sunday, September 7th at approximately 4pm. The TOC event will be broken down into division just like the summer sweeps tournament (Main Scratch, Main Handicap, Senior Scratch, Senior Handicap, and Women's divisions). 

Sunday, September 7th, 2025, 4pm

Entry Fee: $60/bowler per division

Prize Fund (1st place only for all divisions):

- Main Scratch: $360 plus added money from 2025 summer sweeps

- Main Handicap: $360 plus added money from 2025 summer sweeps

- Senior Scratch: $360 plus added money from 2025 summer sweeps

- Senior Handicap: $360 plus added money from 2025 summer sweeps

- Women's: $240 plus added money from 2025 summer sweeps

Format

Main Scratch/Main Handicap/Senior Scratch/Senior Handicap

FIRST ROUND: 6 bowlers will bowl 2 games on the same pair of lanes. Top 4 2-game totals will advance to next round of qualifying, total pins carry over to next round. 

SECOND ROUND: 4 bowlers will bowl 1 game on the same pair of lanes as FIRST ROUND. Top 3 3-game totals (2 games from FIRST ROUND and 1 game from SECOND ROUND) will advance to stepladder finals.

STEPLADDER FINALS: #3 seed bowls #2 seed, one-game match on same pair of lanes. Winner bowls #1 seed, one-game match for the Tournament Of Champions title.

Women's Division

FIRST ROUND: 4 bowlers will bowl 3 games on the same pair of lanes. Top 3 3-game totals will advance to stepladder finals.

STEPLADDER FINALS: #3 seed bowls #2 seed, one-game match on same pair of lanes. Winner bowls #1 seed, one-game match for the Tournament Of Champions title.

Averages (Handicap divisions only)

Bowlers entering the Tournament Of Champions will use their CAREER tournament average of all Morrisville Lanes Summer Sweeps games bowled (Qualifying and Finals combined). If this year's 2025 Summer Sweeps entering tournament average is higher than career average, take 50% of difference and add to CAREER average for TOC tournament entering average.

If there is a repeat champion, the 2nd place bowler of the repeat champion gets the next invite. In the event a bowler does not accept the invite into the TOC, the next bowler in the finals standings of that year gets the invite, and so forth until the spot is filled.
